Same here! I was coming to say this is your funniest yet, especially the first few. Biting haha!

I have tried Flora and Naturli block for dairy free bakes. I preferred Naturli in terms of flavour.

I Am Nut Ok sounds great! Will try it.

Naturli is so great. Apparently the recipe has change but I haven’t noticed. Need to investigate further ♥️

I haven’t noticed either but I’m not licking it off the knife - it’s only ever eaten with something!

I keep making my own butter. Coconut oil, olive oil, almond milk, salt, vinegar, turmeric, nooch. Blend. It’s really very good and has no crap in it.

Brilliant post. Couldn’t agree more with your findings! Still can’t believe I haven’t tried Naturli, have added it to my list. I second the I Am Nut Ok one too- tried it in their Christmas hamper selection box and it’s delish.

I used to love unsalted butter: I mean really love it and eat stacks of it. Now I don’t eat it for health and for animal welfare reasons and possibly I wouldn’t even like it so much. Now, I eat Flora Proactive to help to reduce cholesterol: Benecol is not vegan, which is a pity because I would prefer eating plant stanols to plant sterols, as the latter, apparently are more likely to be absorbed into your body. The reason I’m posting all this blah is to say that whilst Flora Proactive is not the spread of my dreams, I really have got used to it and it’s fine. So I think that a lot of taste preferences are acclimatisation: familiarity. I’m grateful for you testing all these out. Donkeys years ago I used to eat Vitalife (I think there were two versions, in round containers) and I really liked it, but I’m not going back to it.

Before I got onto this cholesterol lark, I didn’t bother with any spread at all and just put on whatever else I was having, often with almond butter.

I just had to google plant stanols/sterols as I had no idea. I’m glad you’ve found something that works for you. Flora has so many options it’s overwhelming but I 100% agree about acclimatisation and familiarity. ♥️

Honestly it’s every time. I can’t just go grab it myself because that would be rude. I have accepted my fate 😂
